Trust & Safety

Transparent chartering.
Verified partners.
No hidden surprises.

Curated yachts. Transparent charter information. Personal support from enquiry to embarkation.

No payment required to enquire. We confirm availability, expected costs and the responsible charter partner before you commit.

How we verify partners

A label should explain the check behind it.

Azervane does not use a single generic “Verified” claim. Individual verification labels identify the review performed, the date recorded and, where relevant, when the underlying evidence expires.

01

Business identity

Company identity, professional contact details and submitted company information can be checked.

02

Professional contact

Business email and telephone channels can be confirmed independently.

03

Yacht representation

A partner may be asked to show a credible basis for marketing or introducing a yacht.

04

Relevant documents

Submitted commercial or insurance documents can be reviewed, dated and given an expiry status.

How we review yacht listings

Fresh information, without availability theatre.

The provider must have a credible connection to the offer. Yacht specifications and commercial information are checked for plausibility.

We record when listing information was updated or confirmed. Material changes should be reflected in the listing.

Listings older than 90 days can be flagged internally for review. This does not mean a yacht is currently available.

Verification can expire. An expired document removes the related public badge until a new review is approved.

Transparent charter pricing

The weekly rate is not always the final budget.

Expected mandatory charges are clarified before commitment. No universal EU tax rate or fixed APA percentage is assumed.

Charter rate

The base fee for the yacht and stated charter period.

VAT / local taxes

Calculated according to the yacht, embarkation point and planned itinerary.

Estimated APA

An advance for variable operating expenses, not an Azervane platform fee.

Berthing

Standard or premium berth costs may vary by port and season.

Fuel

Consumption depends on cruising time, speed, generators, tenders and water toys.

Delivery / redelivery

May apply when the yacht must reposition for embarkation or disembarkation.

Crew gratuity

Customary in many markets, voluntary and not included unless expressly stated.

Other variable costs

Local agents, permits, transfers or itinerary-specific services may apply.

How payments work

We do not collect your charter payment on this website. An enquiry is free and is not a booking. Before any payment, the responsible charter partner is identified and provides the applicable contract and payment information.

Contracts

Before commitment, the responsible contracting party, yacht, period, price, payment plan, cancellation rules, APA, tax treatment and material terms should be clear.

  • Contracting party
  • Charter period
  • Yacht
  • Price
  • Payment schedule
  • Cancellation terms
  • APA
  • Tax information
  • Material contract terms

Privacy & discretion

We collect only information needed to handle the enquiry, do not request passports or payment information at first contact, and do not use personal details for marketing without separate consent.

Protect your payment

Confirm changed bank details independently.

Never send funds to new or changed bank details based on an email alone.

Any change to payment instructions should be confirmed through an independent verified contact channel. Azervane does not operate a self-built escrow service and does not collect charter payments through this website.

Clarity belongs in the journey.

Sample itineraries remain flexible and may change because of weather, safety, berth availability, local regulations or the captain’s professional judgement.
